Robert D. Odell

 

Rob Odell_webcRob Odell is an accomplished entrepreneur who has successfully founded and managed three insurance brokerage and consulting firms over his tenure. In September 2008, Rob co-founded Odell Studner to provide insurance and risk management solutions to select industry groups. Areas of concentration include real estate, captive insurance, human services, technology and life sciences, staffing and personal insurance.

 

Rob is an active investor in numerous real estate projects and start-up funds. Leveraging his 30 years of experience, he leads the Real Estate Practice at Odell Studner. His team of 20 professionals works closely in providing a risk transfer and benchmark process that has changed the business landscape for clients, significantly increasing their ROI.

 

Throughout his career, Rob has acted as an advisor to numerous startups, service companies and non-profits. He presently sits on the board of the Odell Studner Foundation, Philadelphia Real Estate Council and Squires Golf Club. For over 10 years, he has co-chaired the Israel Bonds Real Estate Division. Additionally, he has been active in numerous real estate organizations, including the International Council of Shopping Centers, American Hotel and Lodging Association, Apartment Association of Greater Philadelphia, Philadelphia Real Estate Council, Urban Land Institute, Building Owners and Managers Association and Independent Lodging Congress.

 

Rob graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting. He has been a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) since 1988 and was named Power Broker of the Year in 2012 by Risk & Insurance Magazine.
