J. Brett Studner
Brett Studner has been a leader in the insurance business for over 35 years. As Vice Chairman at Odell Studner, Brett oversees the Human Services Practice Group, where he is responsible for leading a team of professionals who focus exclusively on providing advice, service, accountability and solutions for healthcare-related companies, including non-profits.
Prior to launching Odell Studner, Brett held executive and leadership positions with the Clair Odell Group, which he later sold with his partners to Mellon Bank in 1998. Subsequently, the bank-owned agency became part of Citizens Bank, where Brett served as Chief Sales Officer.
Brett’s strength in the Human Services sector is due, in part, to his own participation as an executive leader on numerous boards, including his past Presidency of Golden Slipper Charities. Brett has also received multiple awards and honors within the community for his commitment and dedication to non-profits. He believes in treating others with courtesy and commitment and as a true business partner. He seeks to provide his clients, business associates and community with leading-edge service and unparalleled expertise, which ultimately assist them in realizing their goals. Brett sits on the Executive Board of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia (JFGP) and heads the JEVS Human Services Corporate Council. He is also active in numerous other charitable positions and endeavors.
Brett graduated from Muhlenberg College with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. Since 1983, he has been a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). The Society of Certified Insurance Counselors honored him in 2008 for his 25 years of leadership and commitment to continuing education and professionalism. Brett is nearing the completion of his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
